Bring a touch of natural warmth and open-ended play to your child's playroom with the charming Holztiger Guinea Pig. Highly celebrated worldwide for their exceptional quality and pedagogical value, Holztiger figurines are a staple in Waldorf and Montessori education. This sweet little cavy, with its gentle contours and vibrant colors, is perfect for small hands to grasp during imaginative farm, pet, or countryside storytelling.
Every single animal is entirely handcrafted. Skilled artisans in Europe individually cut each figure from solid, sustainably sourced maple and beech wood. After meticulous hand-sanding to create ultra-smooth, child-friendly rounded edges, the guinea pig is delicately painted by hand using non-toxic, water-based paints. To ensure lasting durability through generations of play, it is finished with a protective water-resistant topcoat that allows the beautiful, natural grain of the wood to shine through.
Whether it’s joining a pretend family pet setup, decorating a curated nursery shelf, or expanding a timeless wooden animal collection, this durable companion is built to last a lifetime.
