The Sebra bed for babys and toddlers grows together with your child from birth up to the age of about seven years. The design originates from the Juno bed, which was designed by the Danish designer Viggo Einfeldt already in 1942 and adorns every nursery with its timeless look even today.
The Sebra bed is suitable from birth, to approximately 7 years, so it’s a great investment. It extends from 70 x 112.50cm as a cot, to 70 x 155cm as a childs bed. Height 80cm. As a bed the sides (or just one side) can be removed. The base is adjustable – use it on the highest setting for a newborn, and lower it as your baby starts to sit / stand and crawl. The Sebra cot / junior bed is made of birch wood with a very high quality finish. The base is wooden with air holes.
Mattress - Harmony The mattress is made specifically for this cot bed. It comes as two parts, so when it’s time to turn the cot into a bed, you can just add the extra piece of mattress (at the foot end). Easy! The mattress is high quality foam, with an oeko-tex cotton cover. The matching mattress can be bought together with the bed as an option.
This beechwood version of The Sebra Bed is introduced on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of Viggo Einfeldt’s iconic design. The bed pays tribute to the design and Einfeldt’s honest, functionalist approach to design. For the same reason, The Sebra Bed – Wooden Edition has a matte lacquered beech finish with visible grains, which places focus on the bed’s basic shape and gives each bed its own unique own look. Sebra Interior owns the rights to the copyright-protected design classic, the Juno bed.

The Danish company Sebra is established by Mia Dela in 2004. Mia is educated as a designer from the school of design in Kolding Denmark.
