Bring a touch of slow, mindful living into your home with the adorable T-Lab Polepole Walking Polar Bear Cub. "Polepole" (pronounced poh-leh poh-leh) means "slowly, slowly" in Swahili, perfectly capturing the meticulous care and traditional woodworking craftsmanship behind every single piece. Designed by T-Lab in Japan, this endearing little cub captures a gentle moment on a stroll, bringing warmth and timeless minimalist style to any contemporary playroom, shelf, or adult interior space.
Each figurine is entirely unique. Master artisans in Bali painstakingly hand-carve each animal from solid, sustainably sourced Albizia Falcata wood. The wood is selected for its incredibly lightweight feel and smooth texture. After sculpting, every bear cub is finely hand-sanded multiple times to achieve a beautifully soft, unvarnished finish, and then carefully detailed with plant-based paints.
Because every single animal is cut and painted by hand, no two polar bear cubs in the world are exactly alike. It makes a wonderful collectible piece for design enthusiasts or a heartwarming decorative addition to a curated nursery.
